Mike Heinicke and Tad Donley created “Venus” in 1987 utilizing only Tad’s original songs. The best gravitated to this band: Bart St. John Heaney (lead guitar) propelled to fame from this band. Joe Balls Mullenberger (bass guitar) has become a house-hold name in Houston as one of the most innovative bass players of our time. Junior (drums) Trinidad completed the line-up. We were number one.
